BEST CAMP EVER draws together the best faculty from Australia, the US and Canada. These working professionals are booked and taking time out of their busy schedules so that they can be introduced, engage with and teach young performers who are the future of our industry.
We can guarantee that no other program exists anywhere in the world quite like BEST CAMP EVER and we are excited to invited students from across Australia and around the world to come along and join together to learn from the best, better themselves and see their true potential.
Although some Australian students should be in school when the project is on, we have made provisions for study and school work to be completed. We have spoken to educators and teachers and with schoolsonline, it shouldn’t be too difficult for students to get the most out of Best Camp Ever and stay on track with their studies
Ten years in the making, designed from feedback from well over a thousand Australian teenagers who have trained with AIPA and been to camp, Best Camp Ever will challenge even the most accomplished performers. It is designed to inspire dedicated students, engage creative minds, open the eyes of seasoned travelers and provide them with an opportunity to train with industry professionals that you could only dream of working with.
Many programs boast that ‘they are fun’ or ‘provide cultural experiences’ or ‘that they have great teachers instructing you’. Some allow you to ‘explore a new city and visit landmarks and tourist spots’, others offer ‘great food and comfortable accommodation’ or activities such as ‘sailing, kayaking, high ropes, archery, swimming, bmx riding, table tennis, tennis and hiking’. Some offer ‘guest stars’ to come in and talk to you but no program allows you to do ALL of these things in one– that is – except BEST CAMP EVER.
In 2013, students have the option to take a one week course, a three week intensive or both! There is a range of disciplines to choose from including Acting, Improv, Musical Theatre, Script Writing, Songwriting, Stunt work and vocal recording*.
The information contained in each of the fact sheets is comprehensive, but you and/or your parents are also encouraged to call us and ask questions. If you are in LA or Sydney you are welcome to make a time and come in and talk to us. We can organize a Skype time with either office.
Thousands of high school students have trained with AIPA in Australia and now, with success stories a plenty, AIPA opens its doors to international students to come and experience a little of its magic.
